As long as I can remember we had all kinds of cat's living in our house.
Breeding was for a long time on my wishing list.
After a visit to a cat show a fall in love with Maine Coons.
I just had to have some of those cat's.
My personal appeal to this breed is that they are still standing close to nature.
And off course their character, very social to men and other animals, playfull, intelligent, easy going, tough and rough from the outside but soft from the inside. With a beautyfull half long coat who is easily to maintenance.
Who doesn't want to have a cat like that ?
I breed to what I think is a beautiful type, but especially also pays attention to character and health.

I have two children, named Joeri and Naomi, of which the beginning characters of their names forms the name of my cattery Joena Cat's.

We live in a small town Berkel en Rodenrijs close to Rotterdam.
Our cat's can use the whole house and garden.
Our kittens grow up in the living room with the other cat's, dog and children and are therefore very well socialized.
